2015

Well, I have returned to this Blog I started so many years ago. I read over the things I put on my profile and I guess things stayed the same. I am married many more years, we have 2 nephew's who have married and so we have added to our original count. I love them all. Wow each of our children, grand children and nieces and nephew's are so different. Its been a blessing getting to know them and following their lives. We have 2 grand nieces as well. And not to mention we have added to our little family Scott and I....our Golden Doodle Mickey Finn. He's 2 years old now and the joy of our life.

Today Scott went back to work after two weeks of Christmas and New Year Celebrating. He still worked most day but took a total of 3 days off and with Christmas & New Years on a Thursday we were able to have long week-ends together. Our 4:45am wake up call got stretched to 6:45am! Wow what a treat! The Christmas week started out with our Sano Social Club family. With the Sevo's, Dyer's, Ross', Nelson's, Gaupsan's and Melinda here at our home feasting on Prime Rib and all the fixings. We had our time of sharing and it was amazing how each person just got the right card with either a scripture or quote. We said good night to most of them all but the Dyer's and Gaupsan's spent the night so the fellowship continued the next day. That day brought us to our Junipero Block Party with most of the families attending. So great to live on a street with fantastic people!

We had Dennis and Cheryl visiting us and San Clemente for the week and we had some memorable times at Sano, Pierside for dinner and walking through Dana Point's Illuminocean and dinner. Christmas Eve is now our tradition to attend Mass at the San Juan Bascillia and have a quiet dinner with Dennis and Cheryl. This is good for us because Christmas Day is CRAZY! Off to Andrew's house to share Christmas morning and Brunch with Dannielle's family. Both Aidan and Emma has a great Christmas! Then off to my sister's house with my side of the family. Great dinner with everyone making their best dishes to complete the meal but as usual some very difficult parts for me. Hey I thought I was born into the perfect family......who knew? The off to the Kelly Family of Mahattan Beach! Wow what can I say all the Kelly's together with so much love and appreciation for one another.....Don said it was his best Christmas ever and he has had quite a few! Scott made mugs for his brothers with photo's of their parents before they were married and actually all 3 Kelly boys had tears in their eyes remembering their parents. How great is that!

MANY PEOPLE WILL WALK IN AND OUT OF YOUR LIFE BUT ONLY TRUE FRIENDS WILL LEAVE FOOTPRINTS ON YOUR HEART.
I just love the statement about friends. I received the saying from a good friend from a garden chat room who sends out Word's of Wisdom to a privileged group of gardeners. He sent it to my at a time when one of my best friends was dying of Ovarian Cancer. Carol had been my friend for about 40 years. We grew up together, had kids together and enjoyed life together. At her Memorial Service I was honored to give her a farewell. I had a video made of pictures of our lives together over the years set to the song by Tim Mc Graw "My Old Friend" at the end of the video this saying was printed with a picture of Carol sailing our boat off into the horizon of the Pacific Ocean.

About Me

I live in San Clemente, California and love it. I can see the Pacific Ocean from my home. I've been married for 36 years to a wonderful man named Scott. We raised 2 son's in our home. I'm proud to say they both are college graduates, are happily married and each have 2 children. both are married to great gal's and they are super Mom's to our grandkid's. We have 3 grandson's and 1 grand daughter. Each child is very unique and we just love exploring their little lives. We spend time together and it seems most of the time is on the water. We have a boat and go to Catalina Island, Ca allot on our boat. Both of our son's have boat's and enjoy them with their families and friends. My passion is gardening and interior design. I feel my best if I have some dirt under my fingernails. We enjoy our home and garden. I'm so blessed to have been born in a wonderful family and we all enjoy hanging out together and most of the time its around food. Were very involved in Scott's family too and guess what..........Scott's brother Don and his wife Karen have a boat too! We have 13 neices and nephews and love sharing in their lives as well.
